OZO

For therapists and practitioners

Calm bilateral music you can play in the background of your sessions.

What it is

Bilateral Stimulation Music is 24 ambient tracks, about two hours in total. No lyrics, no percussion, and a slow left-right movement panned by hand on every track.

How practitioners use it

  • In the background of relaxation, grounding or mindfulness work.
  • In waiting rooms and treatment rooms, as calm ambient music.
  • As something clients can listen to at home between sessions.

What it isn't

OZO tracks aren't calibrated stimulation tools and don't replace the equipment or protocols you use for EMDR. The speed and depth of the movement change from track to track.

Using it offline

You can buy the album on iTunes or Amazon Music and play it without an internet connection. Streaming apps are usually licensed for personal use only.

Playing it in your business

Most OZO music is registered with ASCAP. Playing music in a spa, clinic or waiting room usually needs a public performance license. If your business already has one that covers ASCAP's catalog (ASCAP itself in the US, or your local music society elsewhere), it will usually cover OZO too. Check with your provider if you're not sure.

For anything that isn't covered, like using the music in videos, apps, classes you sell or your own products, write to me with the form.

Interested in a professional license?

A license for practices is in preparation. Tell me what you'd need and I'll write back.

I'll only use your email to reply and to tell you when licenses are available. Privacy policy
